Magellan Transport Logistics, a “Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business,” hosted a charity event pickup to support Vietnam Veterans of America on June 1st, 2017. “Schedule a Pick-Up” is a truck service that comes straight to your door to accept donated items. Their main purpose is to improve the lives of veterans by donating and giving back. Items such as clothing, clothing accessories, shoes, bedding items, toys and games, tools, small tables, and small appliances and electronics were donated. Magellan Transport Logistics employee staff consists of over 15% veterans. Magellan wanted to contribute to help the community who has served our country. In total Magellan donated 17 bags, 11 boxes, and other items to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
