Magellan Transport Logistics prepares for Corporate Headquarters Expansion Project

Magellan Transport Logistics, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), will expand their corporate headquarters in Jacksonville FL. The additional space will facilitate the company’s short term growth plans. Founded in 2006, Magellan Transport Logistics provides transportation services throughout the United States to many fortune 500 companies.

“This is a very exciting time for all of us” said Tom Piatak, chief executive officer at Magellan, “we are focused on our long term strategic growth, continued commitment to training our personnel, and supporting the communities where we live.” The additional space will enable the company to double its current size and will create 35 new jobs in the Jacksonville market.

Erich Hahn, the Director of Transportation for Magellan commented, “Our corporate headquarters is located in an ideal location near the University of North Florida, and with the university’s outstanding business and logistics programs, offers a great talent pool to recruit the new hires.” Construction is slated to begin mid-November and will not impact current office operations or service.
